The 2010 Plein Air Festival in Wayne, PA
Competition: May 16 - 22, 2010  •  Exhibition: May 23rd - July 2nd, 2010
 
 

 
The Fourth Annual Wayne Art Center Plein Air Festival will stretch out across the town of Wayne and local scenic spots. Over thirty professional artists from across the country will show up with their paints and canvases to turn the familiar into cherished works of art.
  
They will start painting on Tuesday, May 18th and finish early Saturday, May 22nd. Their work will be presented at the Gala Artist’s Reception and Preview Party that evening at the Wayne Art Center. The Exhibition will be on display for the public from May 23rd until July 2nd.
  
For the past three years this event has been an unimaginable feat of creative endeavor. Those who have seen the bodies of work in previous years are in awe of the quantity and quality of work produced in just five days. Each year there have been over 120 painting completed during the festival.
